After the tragic passing of Jesus de Miguel, after a collision with the opposition goalkeeper, Tenerife and Andorra’s matches on the weekend have been postponed by the Spanish second division.
Granada was due to face Tenerife while Andorra was hosting Mallorca; both matches are now postponed.
“After the tragic news of the death of Tenerife player Jesus de Miguel, the game... this Saturday, November 7, at Nuevo Los Carmenes (stadium), has been postponed,” said Granada in a statement.
“At times like this, respect and sensitivity in the face of a situation of profound grief must come first,” said Mallorca.
The other matches in the second division are expected to carry forward without any disruption.
