Coached by Lee Min-sung, the under-23 men's national football team will meet the host country Japan in the gold medal showdown at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. This will be the third straight meeting in an Asiad men's football final between these two rivals.

Lee's team is led by skilled attackers plying their trade in Europe, such as Eom Ji-sung of Swansea City, Lee Young-jun of Grasshopper and Bae Jun-ho of Stoke City.

The archery competition will end Saturday with the men's and women's individual events in recurve. Lee Woo-seok is the lone South Korean man to have made it to the quarterfinals, while Kang Chae-young and Oh Ye-jin will compete in the women's quarterfinals.
