Translate

Netflix has released 78 minutes of new KPop Demon Hunters bonus material. Find all the details below.

The collection comprises four seasons of extras across two companion titles, equalling 22 episodes in total.

Per What’s On Netflix, the additional content includes KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist – a brand-new kids title that added three seasons of short-form stories, stop-motion adventures, and hands-on games on Monday (November 2).

The KPop Demon Hunters Bonus Content series has picked up a second season, too, titled ‘Dance Videos’. This runs for just under 29 minutes, and is aimed at viewers who want to learn the moves.

It boasts the recently released animated clip of HUNTR/X rehearsing a version of their viral smash ‘How It’s Done’, as well as videos for ‘Golden’, ‘Takedown’, ‘Soda Pop’ and more.

With KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist, fans can “play along” with their favourite characters. The show features 13 episodes, and runs for approximately 49 minutes overall. Season one – dubbed ‘HUNTR/X Backstage Pass’ – follows Rumi, Mira and Zoey behind the scenes as they deal with rival idols, writer’s block and some demons.

Season two – titled ‘KPop Toy Creations’ – is a stop-motion project that sees toy versions of the characters revisiting some of the film’s biggest moments. The third instalment – named ‘Play Games With Us’ – combines “dolls and fan challenges, with a surprising amount of ramyeon”.

Since it launched on Netflix in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has been streamed more than 325million times at home and been screened in cinemas around the globe. The film has also inspired immersive gaming experiences, mobile crossover events and bumper art books.

A sequel was confirmed this time last year. While no release date has been announced, it’s unlikely to be ready before 2030, as plot details remain under wraps. The second instalment is set to be released in cinemas as well as on Netflix.

Earlier this year, Sony boss Damien de Froberville explained: “The world [of KPop Demon Hunters] is so rich – the world of the demons and the pop star [element], what happened to Jinu. There’s so much we could expand into.”

Speaking to NME previously, Kevin Woo (who who played villainous group Saja Boys’ backup vocalist Mystery Saja) said the success of KPop Demon Hunters had been a “whirlwind”.

“I’ve been in the world of K-pop since the early 2000s and I’m surprised by how far the movie has taken things. It felt like with BLACKPINK, Stray Kids and BTS, we’d reached the [peak] of K-pop’s popularity around the world but Demon Hunters has taken it to a whole other level of exposure. It’s been pretty mind-blowing.”

The stars of KPop Demon Hunters performed ‘Golden’ at the BAFTAs back in February. However, the film was not eligible for the awards due to regulations surrounding cinema releases.

In other news, the team behind KPop Demon Hunters have confirmed an immersive gaming experience is due to launch in early 2027. Meanwhile, check out everything we know about KPop Demon Hunters 2 here.
