Pakistan qualified for the semifinal of the women’s cricket event at the Asian Games 2026 after defeating Thailand by three wickets in its quarterfinal clash at the Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on the outskirts of Nagoya.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh made it to the semifinal of the same event, after its quarterfinal against China.
In the last four, Pakistan will face the winner of the quarterfinal clash between Sri Lanka and Malaysia on Sunday.
Earlier, the contest was reduced to a 11-overs per-side game after rain played spoilsport. Batting first, Thailand managed to score 91/4.
