KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 — Independent Malaysian mixed doubles pair Hoo Pang Ron-Lai Pei Jing stormed into the French Open 2026 final after defeating China’s Guo Xin Wa-Chen Fang Hui in the semi-finals in Paris today.

At Arena Grand Paris, the world No. 31 needed just 31 minutes to beat their sixth-seeded Chinese opponents 21-13, 21-9.

They will face either top seeds Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping of China or French pair Thom Gicquel-Delphine Delrue in the final.

The final will be Pang Ron-Pei Jing’s second together this season and gives them a chance to go one better after finishing runners-up to Feng and Huang at the China Masters last September. — Bernama
