Atletico Madrid vs. Bayern Munich team news

It's the 4-4-2 of Diego Simeone against Vincent Kompany's 4-2-3-1, and the sort of match that Atletico Madrid have had success in over the years.

Ballon d'Or winner Harry Kane leads Bayern Munich's attack ahead of Michael Olise, and that's the main pair that must be stopped if Atleti are to have any chance of getting something here.

15th in the League Phase table, the Bundesliga side have been unconvincing in recent matches against Viking and Arsenal. A result today is crucial to avoid falling further towards the elimination zone.

Aston Villa team news: An attacking team fielded by Unai Emery

Starts for the in form Nicolas Jackson supported by Emiliano Buendia, Johan Manzambi and John McGinn shows that Aston Villa are looking to get something at the Camp Nou.

It's a team that could struggle to win possession regularly, but when they do get it, there are plenty of options that can make a difference on the counterattack.

Barcelona team news: Lamine Yamal supported by Brian Farinas at right back

An attacking team as expected from Barcelona, which will look to take control early while taking opportunities to isolate Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon against their markers.

Brian Farinas is an interesting selection at right back -- he made his debut on Halloween just days ago.

Galatasaray's press is relentless

The hosts have been brave in the second half and are pushing high to prevent Stuttgart from building up.

Without scoring, Victor Osimhen has been a presence in battles with defenders, while Aleksey Batrakov has come out with fire.

It would be unsurprising to see a couple more yellow cards in this one!

We are back underway!

A quick turnaround, and it's time for the second half.

We need a goal to open up the game in the clash between Shakhtar Donetsk and Sporting CP, while it will be interesting to see how Stuttgart find a way back into this game. The next goal will be crucial.

It's clear why Galatasaray's Aleksey Batrakov is linked with a big move

That was a very impressive half from Aleksey Batrakov, who looks to be a step ahead of the players around him -- which has led to him being fouled heavily on two occasions!

He finishes the half with two goals, a bandage on the head, and a sore ankle after taking a strong challenge just before the break.

His first goal was class, showcasing his technical ability that has seen him linked with a switch to one of Europe's elite clubs. His second, slightly more fortunate, going under the goalkeeper's legs, but it did look like he meant it.

Jamie Leweling is Stuttgart's key back into the match

He has been a standout in this one, and had an early effort that struck both posts before Galatasaray took the lead. He's looking most likely to make something happen with his sharpness on the right-flank, constantly in intelligent positions and attacking the spaces.

The Bundesliga side do need to be better defensively, though -- including the goalkeeper. Clearances aren't being made with enough intent, in what has been a shaky performance at the back.

A slow start at Stamford Bridge

Neither side has made a big chance just yet in West London, where Shakhtar Donetsk are playing their home Champions League games this season.

Both teams are looking for counter attacking opportunities, which has made for a chess match early on.
