‘Country Money’ singer Nicole Taylor of the trio Taylor Red passes away at 35: Triplet sisters Nika and Natalie say, 'She's healed in heaven' after her battle with breast cancer

Nicole Taylor, a member of the country music trio Taylor Red, has passed away at the age of 35. Her triplet sisters, Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor, shared the sad news in a TikTok video on Monday, November 2, and also spoke about her long fight with breast cancer.

Sisters announce Nicole Taylor’s death

The sisters said they were “heartbroken” over the loss. Nika said, “We’re heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister Nicole Taylor. We honestly thought she’d be healed here on earth, but now she’s healed in heaven.”

Nicole Taylor’s cancer journey

According to the sisters, Nicole Taylor was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2022. Natalie described it as an aggressive type and recalled how Nicole faced it. She said, “It was an aggressive type.

In her words, when she first found out, was ‘God’s gonna use this for his glory.’ She thought it fearlessly, and she said, ‘We’re not going to live in dread during all of this.’ And she even did CrossFit while she was with her chemo treatments.

She responded well to treatments and she was declared evidence without disease.”Natalie added, “Then after that she was told it turned into stage four. She tried not to live in fear, remained really hopeful.

She travelled, she tried to live life, she worked really hard, she tried to have fun.”The sisters shared that Nicole was told “nine months later” that the cancer had returned as stage four and that she had “around three months to live.” Nika said, “[The doctor said] if the treatments worked, they didn’t know how long after that.”

‘A big shock’ for the family

In an emotional YouTube video posted on Monday, the sisters said the terminal diagnosis came as “a big shock.”

Natalie said through tears, “We’re still processing everything. This, honestly, feels really hard to talk about, but we’re going to do our best to share her story.”

Faith that gave her strength

The sisters also played a clip of Nicole in her 20s speaking about her faith in God, which they said helped her through the illness. They shared that she “lived around a year after that prognosis” and tried to live as normally as possible. Nika said, “During the time of the more extreme diagnosis, we felt led to not live in fear and claim healing.”Natalie said, “She said she had so much peace and we’re really thankful for that. We are still shocked and didn’t think this would happen, but we know she’s not suffering anymore.”
