Zendaya, Connor Storrie and More Emmys 2026 Nominations Snubs and Surprises

Zendaya continues to be the greatest show woman.

Indeed, the Euphoria star temporarily halted the Emmy Awards 2026 red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles Sept. 14 when she arrived wearing a diamond-covered V-neck silver Prada gown.

And the 30-year-old’s look, spun together by none other than Law Roach, was complete with dazzling Mikimoto jewelry pieces including a string of White South Sea pearls encrusted with 4.40 carats of diamonds, as well as matching earrings surrounded by over four additional carats of diamonds. (See every celeb at the award show here).

Zendaya’s most recent Emmy nod for her role as Rue Bennett in the HBO show marks her third for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and sixth nomination overall. (In 2022, she was also nominated as a producer in the Outstanding Drama Series category and earned two more nods for co-writing two of the show’s songs).

If Zendaya—who has won two Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actress in both 2020 and 2022, respectively—walks away with another trophy in her category this year, she’ll make history yet again by becoming the first actress to win an Emmy for every single season of her series.

(Simultaneously, Hacks star Jean Smart has the potential to achieve this feat as well for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series).

Zendaya’s previous wins have also made her the first Black woman to win the Emmy in that category twice, and the youngest two-time winner of any Emmy in history.

It’s recognition that the Spider-Man star, who recently wed Tom Holland, simply doesn’t take for granted.

In fact, in her emotional acceptance speech in 2022, the Disney Channel alum thanked Euphoria's cast and crew for making "such a safe space to make this very difficult show."

"My greatest wish for Euphoria was that it could help heal people and I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shared their story with me," she shared at the time. "I want you to know that anyone who has loved a Rue or feels like they are a Rue, I'm so grateful for your stories and I carry them with me and carry them with her. Thank you so much."
