Grupo Cañaveral has topped Billboard’s new music Latin poll published on Oct. 30 with its new single, “La Rosita de mi Boca” in collaboration with Olivia Wald.

Billboard readers voted for the new single as their favorite music release of the week after the New Music Latin poll and playlist was published; the song earned more than 53 percent of the vote.

“La Rosita de mi Boca” — which loosely translates to “the pink tint of my lips” — is a romantic cumbia track powered by Wald’s sugary vocals. In the pink-hued music video, the rising Argentine pop artist is dancing and having a cheeky time with Cañaveral’s lead vocalist, Emir Pabón.

“These kind of lyrics inspire you to keep going, with that positivity of spreading love to society, which is what we should all do as human beings,” Pabón previously said at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week of the new music they’re releasing. ”Understanding the roots of the genre, believing in what I’m doing … and when you step out of your comfort zone, wonderful things start to happen. You can create a song today and it won’t sound the same as in 1995, but it can’t be the same because everything is digital now, and it won’t sound the same.”

Another fan favorite in this week’s New Music Latin poll — following Cañaveral’s winning song — is Chuyin’s “Fuga Pa San Carlos” with more than 42 percent of the vote. See the poll results below.

Editor’s Note: The results of the weekly New Music Latin poll are posted if the poll generates more than 1,000 votes.
