4 Emmerdale spoilers next week: Robert Sugden and Sadie King scheme to get Jimmy's cash and Kim Tate haunted by memories of Thea Ramsden

Grief for the late Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) continues to cast a dark shadow over the Emmerdale millionaires next week.

Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) remains deeply troubled by the presence of his newborn son, the baby being a painful reminder of everything that the family have lost in the last month. After making the decision to put the youngster up for adoption, Joe’s father figure Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) threatens to leave the village forever.

Kim Tate (Claire King), meanwhile, is haunted by memories of abandoning her own child 27 years ago. She’s blissfully unaware that her resentful daughter, Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) is working at Hotten Police Station and keeping a watchful eye over Home Farm. With Joe downing the whiskey and Kim crumbling, will her long-buried secret come to light?

Meanwhile, Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) are plotting to get their hands on the deceased Jimmy King's (Nick Miles) cash, there's health concerns for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), and Vinny Dingle's (Bradley Johnson) confession causes upheaval.

Here's everything happening in the episodes of Emmerdale airing between 28 September and 2 October.

1. Sadie King and Robert Sugden plot to get their hands on Jimmy's cash as Vinny Dingle suffers another setback

Sadie and Robert become convinced that Jimmy's missing money could be hidden at the depot. Robert urges her to accept their losses and walk away, but she refuses to give up.

Certain that the cash is still within reach, Sadie insists they keep searching - believing their persistence will eventually pay off.

Elsewhere, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is completely broken by the latest revelations. Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) takes her best mate home and wishes there was more she could do as Nico opens up about the voicemails she received from Jimmy.

Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) also does his best to support Nicola as she struggles to process the truth about Jimmy's secret life. Her anger then turns towards Vinny, leaving her with plenty of questions about the role he played.

Vinny is already at rock bottom after being dumped by Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches). He asks Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) for advice about prison and reveals what he is planning.

Later, Vinny is overcome with emotion when he returns Jimmy's belongings to Nicola, bringing the reality of the situation crashing back down on him.

2. Joe's decision to abandon his baby upends the Tate family

Kim arrives at the hospital expecting to see baby Tate, only to discover that Joe has made a devastating decision. He has banned anyone from seeing the baby because he intends to have him adopted.

She desperately tries to change Joe's mind, but he refuses to listen. Graham also attempts to stop the adoption, warning Joe that if he goes through with it, he will walk away from his life for good.

For a brief moment, Kim is overjoyed when Joe and Graham arrive back at Home Farm with his newborn. But her happiness quickly turns to heartbreak when she discovers the real reason Joe has brought the baby home - he wants her to have the chance to say goodbye.

Kim begs Joe to reconsider, only to receive another devastating blow when she learns that Graham is leaving too. Graham tells Kim that Joe needs her now more than ever before departing with baby Tate for good, leaving Kim utterly devastated.

With Graham gone, Home Farm suddenly feels painfully empty. Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) is stunned that the child has been given away and angrily confronts Joe over his decision.

Alone with his thoughts, Joe turns to whisky.

Meanwhile, Kim's reaction makes it increasingly clear that the adoption has reopened painful memories from her own past, when she gave Thea up.

3. Gabby Thomas takes a turn for the worse

Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) examines Gabby after becoming concerned about her persistent cough, and suspecting bacterial bronchitis, prescribes a course of antibiotics.

But Gabby has become so fixated on consuming only organic products that she is privately questioning whether she should take the medication at all.

Her health worries soon spill over into her business life. Gabby and Laurel clash over the healthy eating menu at The Hide, with their increasingly difficult financial situation adding to the tension. The argument ends with Laurel walking away from the business.

Then Gabby gets a frightening shock. After coughing into a tissue, she notices blood and is privately alarmed by what she sees. Robert, meanwhile, is watching from the sidelines and is delighted to see their business plans beginning to unravel.

With Gabby's cough showing no sign of improving, Manpreet asks her to return to the surgery for blood tests.

As Manpreet hears her discussing increasingly extreme conspiracy theories about pharmaceutical companies, she begins to connect the dots. Her concerns grow further when she discovers the type of content Gabby has been sharing through her social media reels.

The doc' asks her to come back to the surgery, where she delivers a difficult diagnosis: Gabby may be suffering from orthorexia. She refuses to accept that her relationship with food has become unhealthy, leaving her and Manpreet at a loose end.

4. Thea Ramsden has second thoughts about bringing Kim Tate down - and is caught chatting to Serena Sugden

Thea has spent a long time determined to bring Kim down, but a conversation at the late Will Fletcher's graveside leaves her unexpectedly questioning everything. Speaking with Kim causes Thea to see a much more vulnerable side to her, prompting her to wonder whether she has judged her biological mother too harshly.

Thea later confides in Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy), admitting that seeing Kim's vulnerable side has made her question whether she has got the situation completely wrong.

Serena suggests that perhaps the time has finally come for Thea to tell Kim the truth, but the sympathy doesn't last. When Kim loses her temper after Vinny arrives at the pub, Thea overhears what she interprets as a callous attitude towards baby Tate's situation.

Her feelings towards Kim immediately harden again and Thea decides she is once more determined to get revenge.

Meanwhile, with Charity Dingle's (Emma Atkins) trial looming, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) is becoming increasingly consumed by guilt. She knows Charity could end up in prison for something she did not do.

Sarah finds herself caught off guard when Moses Dingle (Arthur Cockroft) asks whether Leyla is his sister. Uncomfortable with the question, Sarah tells him that they will talk about it later.

However, the conversation doesn't stay secret for long. When Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) discovers that Moses knows about the situation, he is furious... and Sarah is left facing a difficult confrontation.

Sarah's suspicions are soon raised when she spots Serena secretly meeting with Thea. The discovery leaves Sarah with a difficult decision.

What will she do with what she has seen?
