Maps Maponyane and Shudu Musida finally go public?

It’s been years since they were first romantically linked, and now fans believe that Maps Maponyane and Shudu Musida have finally gone public with their relationship.

Despite keeping their romance low-key, the TV personality and the former Miss South Africa have reportedly been an item since 2022. 

Over the years, the couple have taken vacations together and even walked the red carpet.

MAPS MAPONYANE AND SHUDU MUSIDA MAKE ROMANCE OFFICIAL?

On his Instagram account, Maps Maponyane posted images of him posing beside Shudu Musida.

The duo were invited to co-host the opening ceremony of the One World Summit, held in Cape Town this week.

In the pics, the couple were seen smiling as they shared a light-hearted moment.

Maps – the son of Bafana Bafana legend Marks Maponyane – captioned one post: “A little backstage, a little big stage, and a whole lot of purpose on the world stage. Thank you for the honour of being a part of yet another week of inspiration and impact”

In the comment section, followers of the entertainer were delighted to see him acknowledge his long-time romantic partner. Some even believe the post marked the couple’s relationship as “public”.

BUDDIES TO BOYFRIEND MATERIAL?

Back in 2022, Shudu Musida and Maps Maponyane first sparked rumours that they were more than acquaintances.

As brand ambassadors of property development group Tricolt, the duo had been booked to work together on several campaigns.  Over the years, fans have noticed the duo publicly supporting one another at events. They’ve also left flirty messages under each other’s Instagram posts.

Fast forward to 2026,  and the private “couple” would go on a baecation to the Seychelles and even walk the red carpet together. 

Maps Maponyane is particularly known for his love of beautiful women.

In the past, he has been linked to actresses Nomzamo Mbatha and Boity Thulo, as well as influencer Nadia Jaftha.

According to IOL, Maps has never officially confirmed any romance, often publicly referring to his female acquaintance as “buddy” or “bestie”.
