Milan will be without Samuel Chukwueze for at least two months because of a hip problem, although Gonçalo Ramos is set to be available for Sunday’s trip to Udinese.
According to Corriere della Sera, via MilanNews, the Nigerian winger has seen a specialist about an issue with his left hip and has started a course of injections. He will be reassessed in 10 to 15 days, but is not expected back before the end of the year.
That rules him out of the derby against Inter on October 31, as well as the rest of a packed run of games. Milan already have Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers out long term, and Chukwueze’s absence is reportedly behind their interest in recalling Zachary Athekame from his loan at Lyon.

Ramos back to lead Milan’s attack at Udinese
There is better news on Ramos, who missed Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League defeat at Bournemouth with fatigue in his left calf. A scan came back clear, and the Portuguese striker returned to full training on Friday.
His return is a major boost for Ruben Amorim, who had to rely on Ardon Jashari and Alphadjo Cisse leading the line in Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League defeat to Bournemouth.
Milan head to Udinese on Sunday evening, still unbeaten in Serie A this season.
