Osun monarch hails Adeleke’s re-election

Governor Ademola Adeleke during the press conference after he was declared as Osun State Governor.

The Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Osun State, Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election, describing the victory as a renewed mandate to deepen development and prosperity across the state.

Obe Oyeyode said Adeleke’s victory in the August 15 governorship election demonstrated the confidence the people of the state had in his administration.

In a congratulatory statement made available to our correspondent on Saturday, the monarch urged Adeleke to use his second term to consolidate the achievements of his first tenure.

He said the renewed mandate provided an opportunity for the administration to strengthen peace, development and prosperity across the state.

Oba Oyesosin said by voting Adeleke for another four-year term, the electorate had demonstrated their belief in the administration’s achievements during its first tenure.

He urged the governor to remain committed to improving the welfare of residents and advancing the overall development of the state.

“It is indeed a new chapter for the state, and we are confident that your second term will bring even greater accomplishments. As the people say, ‘Imole is shining brighter,’” the monarch stated.
