India qualified for the semifinal of the men’s kabaddi event at the Asian Games 2026 after a 37-21 win over Chinese Taipei in its final Group A encounter.
A dogged performance from Chinese Taipei wasn’t enough as Japan qualified for the semifinal thanks to a better points difference.
With four wins from four matches, India has secured at least a bronze medal in the men’s event. It will face the second-placed finisher from Group B in the next round.
