Anahat Singh continued her good form from the Asian Games 2026 as she reached the second round of the Egyptian Squash Open on Saturday.
Anahat defeated Egypt’s Habiba Rizk in four sets 11-5, 11-4, 5-11, 16-14 to book her place in the next stage. The 18-year-old will next face world number six Fayrouz Aboelkheir.
As for other Indians in the tournament, Velavan Senthilkumar is currently in action against Spain’s Bernat Jaume. Later in the day, Tanvi Khanna will take on Egypt’s Sana Ibrahim, while Veer Chotrani will face Egypt’s Moustafa El Sirty.
