Lauren Patten, Pauline Chalamet, Kimball Farley, Carlos Valdes and Rachel Marsh to Lead Feature ‘Old Mission’ (Exclusive)

The second feature from writer-directors Neal Kelley and Jono Sherman has found its cast.

Lauren Patten (Off Campus, Becky Shaw), Pauline Chalamet (The Sex Lives of College Girls, The Devils Wears Prada 2), Kimball Farley (The Righteous Gemstones) Carlos Valdes (The Flash, Up Here) and Rachel Marsh (The Love Hypothesis, Adults) are set to lead Old Mission, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Zoe Kanters, Matthew Hays, Josh Broder and Karen Leiner round out the cast.

Set over five days on the shores of Lake Michigan, the film, which began filming earlier this month and is expected to wrap this week, is the pair’s follow-up to the pair’s 2023 film Daddy. The film’s synopsis reads, “Old Mission follows a woman (Patten) who gathers with a tight circle of old friends at a lake house in the days before she moves home to care for her mother, who has just suffered a mental breakdown. What begins as a vacation together turns into something more complicated, as long-held feelings, unfinished history and the gap between the lives they imagined and the ones they’re living all rise to the surface.”

Kelley and Sherman are set to direct their own script. They’ll produce under their TWNSHP banner. Yunus Church and Nate Nemon are also set to produce. Jameson Tamblyn is executive producing. Erica Hart handled casting for the film.
