Sardar 2 Box Office Collections: Karthi starrer action thriller fumbles in opening week, collects Rs 17.75 crore

Karthi and SJ Suryah starrer Sardar 2 is struggling at the box office in theaters even though the first instalment was a massive hit for the Paiyaa actor. After a washout weekend and dull days to follow, the film has managed to collect only Rs 65 lakh on Day 8. The eight-day theatrical cume of Sardar 2 reached approximately Rs. 17.75 crore gross at the Indian box office for its first week.

With the film's box office run trending downward, it also faces a clash with Soori and Suhas’ Mandaadi, which is currently making a fantastic run at the box office.

The mission reunites Viji with his father, Chandra Bose aka Sardar, who has his own history with Black Dagger and Doku. With an opportunity for redemption at sight, Viji and Sardar join forces to stop Black Dagger from obtaining Doku and prevent a global catastrophe.
