Kenya Power Announces Saturday Outages in Kajiado, Siaya and Nyeri Counties

Kenya Power has announced planned electricity interruptions in parts of Kajiado, Siaya and Nyeri counties on Saturday, October 31, 2026, to facilitate routine maintenance.

The utility said the affected areas would experience outages at different times, with some locations expected to remain without electricity for most of the day.

Kajiado County: Ngong and Kibiku

In Kajiado County, electricity supply will be interrupted in parts of Ngong and Kibiku from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The affected areas include Gichagi, Police Ngong, Lemiso, Maragara Road, Ngere Road, Berra, Forgotten, Kimuka, Sakuka Mallow, Oleshoboro and Saikeri, as well as adjacent customers.

A separate interruption within Ngong will affect Dove 2-4, Ngong Hills, Manyatta and Kengen, alongside adjacent customers, during the same period.

Siaya County: Wagwer

In Siaya County, the planned maintenance will affect Wagwer from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The affected customers include Wagwer Primary School, Wagwer Secondary School and adjacent customers.

Nyeri County: Miiri and Kiangai Market

In Nyeri County, electricity supply will be interrupted in parts of Miiri and Kiangai Market from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The affected locations include Miiri Coffee Factory, Miiri Market, Miiri Kiawaiguru TBC, Kiangai Market, Kianyange Village, Kiangai Coffee Factory, Kiangai Village, Thunguri Coffee Factory, Karerahungu Village, Bore Kero, Thunguri Village, Kianwe Market, Kianwe Village, Kariko Village, Kiambagathi and Kiahiti Village.

Safaricom and Airtel booster stations will also be affected, alongside adjacent customers.
