Fox Business Network Announces New Weekday Lineup Following Maria Bartiromo’s Exit

Translate

Fox Business Network is shaking up its weekday programming lineup in the wake of the move to cancel Maria Bartiromo’s Mornings With Maria.

The channel says that it will launch Big Money in the Morning Oct. 12, with Dagen McDowell, Brian Brenberg and Taylor Riggs with Barron’s Josh Schafer hosting the program, which will run from 6-9 a.m. The show will seek to “provide a comprehensive look at the issues driving the market to help viewers navigate the forces shaping their financial future ahead of the trading day,” FBN says.

Riggs, Brenberg and McDowell will leave The Big Money Show, which runs from 12-2 p.m., with the channel bringing on rotating guest hosts Cheryl Casone, Marcus Lemonis, and Lou Basenese to join current host Jackie DeAngelis.

With McDowell and Brenberg moving to the mornings, their 6 p.m. show The Bottom Line will end, replaced by reruns of Kudlow.

Liz Claman, who anchors FBN’s flagship afternoon business show The Claman Countdown, will add a Friday evening program Claman’s Power Players from 7-7:30 p.m., in which she interviews top industry and business leaders.

“We’re excited to bring viewers fresh programming from a seasoned team of journalists, offering expert insight and analysis on the forces shaping the economy and driving business news,” Fox News Media president and executive editor Jay Wallace said in a statement. “Fox Business remains committed to delivering compelling business news, market analysis, and conversation throughout the day, and these changes will further strengthen our weekday lineup.”
