Nushrratt Bharuccha shares FIRST post after Bali spine injury, tells fans she has not lost hope and wants to return soon: 'Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost'

Nushrratt Bharuccha has posted for the first time since she suffered a spine injury in Bali. She shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, giving fans a glimpse of her state of mind.

Nushrratt Bharuccha uploaded a picture of an empty reclining wheelchair, with a beautiful sunset seen through the window. She wrote on the image, “Been chasing sunsets forever, and just like that… my view changed. But, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.”Reflecting on the situation, Nushrratt Bharuccha said time can change one’s reality in ways that are hard to understand. She added that even though she is not in her best shape right now, she has not lost hope and wants to get back in full swing soon.

How the accident happened

Nushrratt had gone to Bali for a work-cum-holiday trip, where she met with an accident and fractured her spine. She was later airlifted to Mumbai for spine surgery.

What her publicist had said

Earlier, her publicist had issued an official statement saying the actress was under medical observation. It read, “Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was in Bali for a work-cum-holiday trip, met with an unfortunate accident and suffered a fracture in her spine.

At present, our immediate priority is her health and ensuring she receives the necessary medical care. We are currently making arrangements to bring Nushrratt back to Mumbai from Bali via an air ambulance, where she will undergo the surgery”.The team also said her work plans for the next few weeks have been put on hold. “Given the nature of the injury and the surgery, Nushrratt will need time to rest and recover, and her work commitments over the next few weeks are likely to be affected. We request everyone to respect her privacy at this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. We are grateful for everyone’s concern and good wishes and will share further updates as and when appropriate," the statement further read.On the work front, the actress was last seen in the film 'Uff Yeh Siyapaa'. It was released in theatres on September 5, 2026.
