Kanyari Breaks Silence Following Court Order Granting Him Custody Of His Children

Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has delivered a message on faith and perseverance after being awarded custody of his two children with his late ex-wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.

Writing on his Facebook page on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, the preacher encouraged his followers to remain resilient through personal setbacks and trust in God during difficult times.

“We keep pushing no matter what! Life may bring challenges, disappointments, and unexpected storms, but we refuse to give up,” Kanyari posted. “With faith in our hearts and God by our side, we will keep moving forward, trusting His plan even when the road gets tough.”

Frame-marking the post with Philippians 4:13 (“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”), Kanyari added that “every setback is a setup for a comeback,” urging his audience to keep praying and moving forward.

His reflection follows an October 26, 2026, ruling by Dagoretti Magistrate A.O. Casmir granting Kanyari legal custody of his children, Sky Victor and Danny.

However, the court ordered that the children temporarily remain under the care of Bayo’s husband, Tash, who has been raising them since Bayo’s passing in November 2025.

Magistrate Casmir directed Kiambu children’s officers to submit a 14-day transition plan addressing the minors’ emotional welfare, schooling, and transport, while consulting the children directly in an age-appropriate manner.

Under the ruling, Kanyari was granted structured access—including phone or video calls and alternate weekend visits. The court directed both Kanyari and Tash to share the financial responsibilities for the children’s essential needs, including school fees, without making financial support conditional on physical custody.
