India ended its campaign at the 2026 Asian Games with 85 medals, helping the country finish fourth in the final medal tally.

The 21 gold medals it won put it level with Uzbekistan, but it occupied the higher spot due to a higher number of silver medals.

This was India’s second-best performance at the continental event. The nation won 106 medals at Hangzhou in 2023, which included 28 gold.
