Woman accused of running down husband with car was allegedly unlicensed

A woman accused of killing her husband by running him down in front of their home west of Brisbane was allegedly disqualified from driving at the time of the incident, court documents show.

Australia Post worker Lacey-Jay Bullock's matter was mentioned at Ipswich Magistrates Court today, after she was charged with domestic violence murder and driving while disqualified.

Bradly Bullock, 50, died on Sunday after he was struck by a car allegedly driven by his wife on Stoneywood Street at Fernvale.

Police said neighbours restrained Ms Bullock while bystanders and first responders did CPR on the victim, but he died at the scene.

The woman was arrested shortly after the incident.

Yesterday, Detective Inspector Mick Manago asked for people in the area who may have knowledge of what happened, or who knew the couple, to please come forward.

"Anyone that has previous information in regards to the dynamics of the relationship between the parties involved, please come forward," he said.

"This is quite traumatic incident that's occurred in a public space, in a rural area just outside of Brisbane so the public are quite distressed by what's occurred there."

Ms Bullock's family were at court but the accused did not appear.
