اجتماع للجان "اتفاقية مكة" في الرياض اليوم، والقوات اليمنية تنفّذ عمليات ضد جماعة أنصار الله

قُتل أكثر من 70 شخصا في اشتباكات بين القوات الحكومية والحوثيين داخل تعز وبمحاذاتها في جنوب غرب اليمن خلال الساعات الأربع والعشرين الماضية، بحسب ما أفادت مصادر من الجانبين الأحد، فيما شدد المتمردون حصارهم على مركز المحافظة المطلة على البحر الأحمر.

وأوضحت مصادر الحكومة المدعومة من السعودية لوكالة فرانس برس أن 34 من عناصر قواتها قتلوا، 20 منهم في مديرية المضاربة بمحافظة لحج المحاذية لتعز، و14 في جنوب وغرب محافظة تعز.

في المقابل قالت مصادر عسكرية تابعة للحوثيين المدعومين من إيران، إنّ 39 من عناصرهم قتلوا في المواجهات على جبهات تعز ولحج المحاذية لها.

وأفادت المصادر أنّ المعارك أدت لسقوط عشرات المصابين في صفوف الجانبين. ويأتي ذلك مع احتدام المعارك في محافظة تعز.

وقطع الحوثيون في وقت سابق الأحد طريق إمداد حيويا يربط تعز بعدن، حيث المقر الموقت للحكومة المدعومة من الرياض، بحسب ما أفادت مصادر أمنية وشهود عيان فرانس برس.
