Four spectators. One row. A woman in Oktoberfest clothes who flew in from Germany and wanted Taylor Swift to hear her name. During the Chiefs' Week 6 win over the Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium, she squeezed past strangers and shouted toward Swift's suite until a security guard stepped in. A fan sitting close by saw it all. She says the shouting was not the biggest problem. Where the woman stood while doing it was.
Taylor Swift at Arrowhead: what happened in the stands
Ashlie Molstad says the woman crossed four people to reach her row before yelling Swift's name. The guard reached her within seconds. According to Molstad, he told her, "These are not your seats. You need to leave."
The woman pleaded her case. She had traveled from Germany, she said, and dressed for the occasion. The guard stayed put. She tried a quick photo anyway, and he raised a hand to block the camera. Footage from the suite area shows Swift pointing toward the field, as if telling whoever was filming to watch the game. Molstad could not hear her, but she believes Swift said something like, "I'm watching the game,"
Seats are the one thing every ticket holder pays for, so Molstad's irritation is easy to understand. "The frustrating part was her assuming she had the right to rush into our row and get right in Taylor's face, which was distracting while we were trying to watch the game," she said. Stadium staff usually treat a stranger entering someone else's row as a clear reason for removal.
Molstad gave the guard credit for keeping things quiet. "He didn't make a big scene," she said, and "he just put his hand up and said, ‘I don't care. These are not your seats.'" Swift looked calm in the video, with her attention on the field.
Another moment happened outside the suite. Molstad says a man pressed himself against the window and flipped Swift off. She and a friend flagged down police officers nearby, and they removed him.
Chiefs vs Chargers: Kenneth Walker leads Kansas City to 5-0
Down on the grass, Kenneth Walker did the heavy lifting. He ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns, including a 33-yard break that proved to be the Chiefs' biggest offensive play. He now leads the league in rushing. Patrick Mahomes threw for 272 yards, and Kansas City managed it without receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton.
Xavier Worthy caught seven passes for 73 yards. Travis Kelce added five catches for 53. The win keeps the Chiefs unbeaten alongside the San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings, and it settles a small score. The Chargers swept both meetings last season.
Los Angeles had a rough day on offense and finished with 259 total yards. Justin Herbert passed for 204 yards and threw his eighth interception, the most in the league. After halftime the Chargers reached the 15-yard line, but two incompletions from Herbert left them with a field goal instead of a touchdown.
Harrison Butker had a bad afternoon too, missing an extra point and a field goal. Kansas City still went home 5-0.
