MANILA, Philippines — In-person or face-to-face classes are suspended in several areas on Friday, Sept. 4, due to continuous rains brought by the southwest monsoon or “habagat.”

• Apalit – no face-to-face classes; all levels; public and private schools
• Guagua – no face-to-face classes; all levels; public and private schools; until Saturday, Sept. 5
• Minalin – no face-to-face classes; all levels; public and private schools; shift to alternative modes of learning
• San Fernando – no face-to-face classes; all levels; public and private schools; including teaching and non-teaching personnel
