Bendel Insurance have appointed Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie as the club’s new captain, Completesports.com reports.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper will lead the Benin Arsenals, with experienced striker Kayode Oke named as his deputy.
Obasogie recently returned to Bendel Insurance for a second spell after spending time away from the club.
He previously featured for Tanzanian Premier League Singida Black Stars.
The goalkeeper enjoyed an impressive first spell with the Benin-based club, making 33 league appearances during the 2023/24 season.
