4 Emmerdale spoilers next week: Vengeful Joe Tate buries Ruby Miligan alive and Vinny Dingle finally confesses

Translate

Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) seeks revenge on the Miligans in Emmerdale next week.

He's furious that their actions led to the death of wife-to-be Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley), and in true Tate style, won't settle until they've paid for their actions.

His solution? To BURY Ruby (Beth Cordingly) alive. Will she be ok?

The drama continues elsewhere in the village, as a guilt-ridden Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) admits to driving dangerously, which resulted in Jimmy King's (Nick Miles) passing.

Meanwhile, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) is concerned by Sadie King's (Patsy Kensit) influence on her husband Cain (Jeff Hordley), and Ross Barton (Michael Parr) breaks some news to Jacob and Sarah Sugden (Joe-Warren Plant and Katie Hill).

Here's everything happening in the episodes of Emmerdale airing between Monday 21 and Friday 25 September.

1. Ruby Miligan is buried alive by Joe Tate

Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) rrives late to Dawn's funeral, immediately raising questions about where he's been and what he's been doing.

As Joe struggles to find the words to deliver a eulogy, Kim Tate (Claire King) steps forward to pay tribute to her step-daughter. She ends her speech with a promise to keep the family together, but Joe is unable to withstand the enormity of his grief and walks away from the burial.

Kim later confronts Graham over Joe's absence, with the pair also clashing over what the future holds for the family.

Joe then turns his attention to a weakened Caleb Miligan (William Ash), standing over him and ominously hinting at what is still to come. As he taunts Caleb, Joe makes it clear that his wife's life is in danger - and appears to take pleasure in knowing that he has complete control over his fate.

Meanwhile, Ruby regains consciousness inside the coffin and desperately tries to escape her horrifying confinement. With her strength rapidly fading, she eventually falls silent, seemingly running out of air.

Kev Barton (Chris Coghill) encourages Vinny to keep his emotions under control and stick to his plans to marry Lewis, and when he insists that he wants to do the right thing, Kev misinterprets what he means.

Unable to carry his secret any longer, he seeks out Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and tearfully admits that he was responsible for the car crash which claimed the lives of Jimmy and Dawn.

Later, she heads to the pub and deliberately manipulates Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) into talking about Dawn. She keeps pushing her until she's forced to say something about the tragedy.

Vinny subsequently heads to Home Farm, where he comes clean to Joe about his role in the accident that killed Dawn.

Joe's reaction is chilling. Rather than immediately responding, he simply stares at Vinny in an ominous silence, leaving those around him fearing what he might do next.

Elsewhere, Lewis is left anxious about what Vinny's confession could mean for their future, while Kev attempts to reassure him.

For Cain, it's a clear indication of where his loyalties lie - with his wife.
