Gian Piero Gasperini will hold a pre-match press conference today, on the eve of Saturday’s big match against Inter, while his counterpart, Cristian Chivu, will speak to the press only after the game.
Roma-Inter is the big match of Serie A Round 5. It kicks off at 18:00 CET [17:00 BST] at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome tomorrow, Saturday, September 19.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the two coaches have taken different approaches to the big match, at least in terms of communication.
When is Gasperini’s press conference before Roma vs Inter?
Roma boss Gasperini will speak to the media at a press conference today at 13:30 CET [12:30 BST], while Chivu will remain silent until tomorrow.

It’s the first time this season Chivu hasn’t spoken to reporters before a game, although he did the same a few times in 2025-26, especially after Serie A games played after Champions League encounters.
Roma and Inter are the only two Serie A clubs to have won all their opening four league games this season.
