屯門環保園現代化紙漿生產設施7月底啟用，本港回收的廢紙將實現全面本地製漿，毋須依賴出口。

可回收廢紙的種類，將由傳統的「三紙」，即紙皮、報紙及辦公室用紙，擴充至其他雜紙，例如例如紙袋、包裝盒，環保署預計將會有助提升本港回收率。
