Bomb threat called on Boca Raton Jewish preschool, law enforcement evacuates area
The Betty and Marvin Zale Early Childhood Learning Center, where the threat was called in, was evacuated, as was at least one other nearby educational facility.
A Jewish preschool in Boca Raton, Florida, had a bomb threat reported at it, prompting local law enforcement to evacuate the area, US media outlets reported on Monday.
The Betty and Marvin Zale Early Childhood Learning Center, where the threat was called in, was evacuated, as was at least one other nearby educational facility.
"I was in my classroom during English and we just had an announcement on the loudspeaker that there was a bomb threat at the school next door to us," a student from the nearby Katz Yeshiva High School told The Jerusalem Post. "Traffic was blocked, because they weren't letting any vans or cars in for carpool. They told us we needed to stay inside for a while, and they'd tell us when it was time to come out."
There has not yet been confirmation of any suspicious items found by local law enforcement.
StopAntisemitism calls for full prosecution for bomb threat
"No child should have to face this kind of terror at school," the StopAntisemitism nonprofit wrote about the incident on X/Twitter.
"Whoever is responsible should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
