Orban Poised For Permanent Amedspor Transfer

Gift Orban is on course to make his move to Turkish Süper Lig newcomers Amedspor permanent after making an impressive start to life at the club.

The Nigeria international joined Besnik Hasi’s side on loan from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim in July and has hit the ground running, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in six league appearances.

Eren’s Update On Orban

According to Amedspor president Nahit Eren, Orban needs just three more goals to trigger the mandatory purchase clause in his loan agreement.

“We loaned Gift Orban for €500,000, not €1 million,” Eren was quoted as saying by GZT.

“If he scores 10 goals, the mandatory purchase option will be activated.”

With seven goals already to his name, the 24-year-old striker is currently the joint-top scorer in the Turkish Süper Lig, level with Trabzonspor star Mohamed Salah.

Orban will now be looking to maintain his impressive scoring form and reach the 10-goal mark that would secure his permanent transfer to Amedspor.
