AFL grand final wash up LIVE: Brisbane Lions celebrate premiership victory over Fremantle Dockers

Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan was best on ground at the teams’ grand final victory celebration, riding the shoulders of captain Harris Andrews in the middle of a dance floor throng at the Pullman Hotel.
Fagan, 65, looked to be holding on for dear life as Andrews chaired him through a mosh pit of Lions teammates and supporters at the club’s official post match party, following Brisbane’s thrilling come from behind win over Fremantle in Saturday’s AFL grand final.
The win completed a rare grand final three-peat for the club, making the celebrations even sweeter. Footage of Fagan’s shoulder ride peppered social media on Sunday morning, with the coach looking like he was ready to enter his festival era.
With minutes to go, Fremantle looked to have secured their first-ever AFL premiership. But the Lions’ killer instinct kicked in and led them to victory.

Not shying away from the tribunal controversy that marred his run-up to the grand final, Lachie Neale posted a tongue-in-cheek retort to Jack Ginnivan following Brisbane’s come-from-behind win.
Neale was initially suspended for one game after punching Ginnivan in the stomach while behind play in last week’s semi-final. But the AFL Appeals Board eventually overturned the suspension that would have kept Neale out of the grand final, citing his clean record across 321 games.
Neale shared a photo on Saturday of him holding all three Lions premiership cups aloft, captioned: “What now...”
After Ginnivan replied to his post with an emoji, Neale responded: “hope your tummy okay my guy x”.
