NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi late Thursday spoke with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz over the phone on Thursday and discussed ways to further strengthen the India-Germany strategic partnership.The conversation comes as India and Germany mark 75 years of diplomatic relations this year.The two leaders reviewed the progress made in bilateral ties and noted the continued momentum in high-level exchanges between the two countries.PM Modi and Merz reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in key areas, including trade and investment, advanced technology, clean energy, defence, education and the movement of skilled talent.The leaders also discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest. They agreed to continue working closely to promote peace, stability and prosperity around the world.
