#OsunDecides2026: APC national secretary commends INEC’s logistics, voters’ turnout

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Ajibola Basiru, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for the hitch-free deployment of materials and personnel for Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.
Basiru, who voted at Ward 7, Unit 3, in Osogbo Local Government Area, noted the timely deployment of election materials and personnel to polling units across the state.
He also commended voters for arriving at polling units early, describing the turnout as an indication of the people’s commitment to democracy.

“I commend INEC for the timely deployment of election materials and personnel to polling centres across the state.
“I also commend voters for turning out in large numbers to participate in the electoral process. The turnout is an indication of the people’s commitment to democracy,” he said.
