Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed she's had a boob job because she felt her body 'didn't bounce back' after the birth of her second son last year.

The actress, 36, said she went under the knife because she 'wants to be a sexy mom' and admitted she has plans to have a facelift in the future.

In an interview with The Cut, Jennifer said: 'At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s**t together even when I've just woken up and don't have my s**t together.'

Jennifer had the surgery before having to strip off on camera for Martin Scorsese's What Happens at Night, which has now wrapped up production.

The actress said the prospect of filming a nude scene spurred her on to have the procedure but she still would have had it done.

She added: 'Maybe I wouldn't be hustling to the appointment in the same way, but I think yes.'

The actress, 36, said she went under the knife because she 'wants to be a sexy mom' (pictured showing off her cleavage in January this year)

In October 2025, the silver screen siren said she had plans to undergo a breast enhancement following her second pregnancy.

'Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one [referring to her three-year-old son, Cy]. 'Second one, nothing bounced back,' she said in an interview with the New Yorker.

Jennifer went on to say she avoids having fillers 'because they show on camera' and will only get Botox sparingly as she needs to be able to show expression and is playing characters who 'don't have access to celebrity dermatology'.

Jennifer said she was previously accused of having a nose job but said her appearance was down to losing 'babyweight in my face' and 'aging'.

Now, The Hunger Games star has ventured into the beauty world with her newly launched 'biodesigned haircare' company Mes.

It sells just three products - a volumising mist, a repair mask and a serum.

The actress labelled herself 'dumb but cute' while admitting she has 'no clue' about the money side of her new business.

Prior to her latest interview, Lawrence opened up to Vogue about her beauty practices.

Speaking with the fashion magazine last month, she said she gets Botox in small doses, sharing that she 'can't really get very much done. I need to have movement in my face – I get baby Botox, but I can't do a lot.'

She also listed her reliance on facials, explaining, 'If my skin is going to be a little saggier than I would like, at least it looks dewy and pretty.'

The Oscar winner admitted that she 'would love to have a buccal fat removal', but, 'I can't because everybody would know.'

Stored between the cheekbones and jawbone, buccal fat can be surgically removed to define the cheeks.
