While she did not disclose the person's identity or profession, she spoke about the understanding they had developed and the peace she found in the relationship.

She recalled beginning her stage performances at the age of 16 and making her film singing debut when she was 18."I came here to share something with you. I started performing in stage shows when I was 16. You have known me through my stage performances since then. I sang my first song for a film when I was 18. From that time until 2026, you have witnessed the events and experiences in my life. My family probably knows me even better than you do."

She added that many people who have followed her career have also been curious about her personal life. Rimi Tomy said she decided to share the update because she believed the news would make her well-wishers happy.
