In October 2025, she caused a stir by turning up at designer Matthieu Blazy's debut Chanel show dressed down in a baggy white shirt and jeans.

One year later, Nicole Kidman is clearly feeling far more confident in her own skin… particularly, her legs.

Last night Ms Kidman, 59 – who was accompanied by her younger daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, 15 – made a grand entrance at Chanel's Paris Fashion Week show dressed in a boxy dark grey double–breasted blazer – and little else, bar a pair of black denier tights and heels.

When your legs are as toned as Ms Kidman's, no trousers are required. And no expense was spared on the lavish staging of the Spring/Summer '27 show – or on the guest list.

Pop star Dua Lipa, 31, blew a kiss to waiting fans as she arrived in a sleeveless red floral top and matching skirt embroidered with feathers.

Of course, the singer had also worn a feather and crystal–embellished custom Chanel Haute Couture gown for her Sicily wedding to actor Callum Turner a little over four months ago. It was the first couture bridal look designed by Blazy 'for a friend of the house'.

And model Rosie Huntington–Whiteley, 39, also made a show – not on the catwalk as she did at Yves Saint Laurent last week, but sitting front row, dressed in a beige Chanel jacket with monogrammed gold buttons and a silver boucle trim.

In the year since he showed his debut collection in Paris, designer Blazy, 42, has turned Chanel around, with queues snaking round the block outside boutiques all over Europe and the US when his first collection hit stores in March.

The privately–owned company reported that full–year revenues rose 3 per cent to $19.3billion (£14.6billion) last year.

Unofficial reports claim that sales of womenswear have grown by 16 per cent, as fashion–lovers are gripped by what has been dubbed 'Blazymania'. Although on the evidence of Ms Kidman's latest look, perhaps 'Blazermania' can't be far behind.
