Greta Gerwig is all set to explore the magical world of Narnia with Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew. After making her mark across genres, the acclaimed filmmaker is taking on one of fantasy literature’s most beloved worlds with an adaptation of C. S. Lewis’s classic novel. This time, collaborating with Netflix, the director will bring a storyline to life that all of us have already enjoyed.

With the upcoming film generating buzz, this is a good time to revisit some of Gerwig’s earlier work. From coming-of-age drama to a colorful fantasy comedy, here are four Greta Gerwig movies worth watching before Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew arrives.
