Mötley Crüe Announce 45th Anniversary Edition of Too Fast For Love

Mötley Crüe have announced the release of a 45th anniversary edition box set of their debut album, Too Fast For Love, set to arrive October 30th via BMG.

The announcement also comes with the release of a music video for the previously unreleased demo track “Nobody Knows What It’s Like to Be Lonely” from 1981.

“Nobody Knows What It’s Like to Be Lonely” is a Sabbathian doomy heavy metal track, fitting the occult-adjacent look Mötley Crüe sported for a stretch of their early career. For those who prefer the rougher-edged and more dangerous material of the band, it will be a pleasant addition to the repertoire. The music video features grainy black and white footage of skulls, pentagrams, and candelabras fit with white and black candles, fitting the sinister vibe.

The box set includes both the wide-release 1982 Elektra Records version of their debut as well as the far rarer 1981 Leathür Records issuing that was self-released by the band. The set will also include a live double album titled Live at Perkins Palace 1982 featuring early versions of tracks from 1983’s Shout at the Devil, a 5-track vinyl of their 1981 studio recorded demos, a replica of their debut 7″ single for “Stick To Your Guns” b/w “Toast of the Town,” which never appeared on a studio release, as well as a replica of their 1981 demo cassette.
