Kelly Stafford had a compliment for Erin Andrews even as the Los Angeles Rams struggled to find their footing in the 2026 NFL season. The wife of quarterback Matthew Stafford reacted to the Fox Sports broadcaster's latest Instagram post after Andrews covered the Chicago Bears' game against the Atlanta Falcons. Her message was short, but it was another friendly exchange between two familiar faces in the NFL community. Kelly had a busy Sunday of her own, watching her husband play at SoFi Stadium before the Rams suffered another narrow defeat.
Kelly Stafford and Erin Andrews continue their friendly exchanges
Andrews shared several pictures from her Week 6 assignment in Atlanta, including a postgame interview with Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. She wore an all-black outfit featuring a fitted sleeveless top, high-waisted trousers and pointed-toe shoes.
Kelly, being a girls' girl, wrote a comment under the Instagram post. “Every week, just so beautiful,” she wrote.
And this compliment came after Andrews worked on the coverage by Fox Sports of the Bears' 31-23 win over the Falcons. Williams completed 30 of 36 passes for 305 yards and a touchdown while not throwing an interception as Chicago won on the road.
Kelly and Andrews had already swapped messages before. In November 2025, Andrews wrote "Looking crew" on a family post that Kelly shared from the Rams' Week 11 game. The pictures showed Kelly, Matthew and their four daughters at the team's midnight‑themed game.
Kelly Stafford opened up about insomnia before the Rams loss
Away from the social media exchange, Kelly had shared more personal life news over the weekend. In an Instagram Story posted at 3:04 a.m., she admitted she was struggling to sleep.
“Insomnia sucks,” she wrote.
But the sleepless night also led her to an old family photograph of Matthew holding their youngest daughter, Tyler, when she was much smaller. Kelly shared the picture with a happier message: “But what doesn't suck is what you find when you have insomnia .”
The story came during a difficult stretch for the Rams. Los Angeles lost 18-16 to the Arizona Cardinals at home, dropping to 2-4 after back-to-back defeats. Matthew completed 25 of 33 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns, but his performance was not enough to prevent another loss.
Kelly has also spoken about how sleep affects family life. In a 2025 interview with Forbes, she said, “Good sleep has helped our marriage,” while explaining that sleep deprivation had contributed to arguments and frustration.
