Coronation Street's Sally reveals suspicions about Lucy in funeral drama

Coronation Street has aired some disturbing scenes for Sally Metcalfe, who's growing suspicious of teen Lucy Parkinson after her mum Rachel's funeral.
Sally and Tim have been looking after Tim's cousin Richie's daughter Lucy after she suffered a horrifying ordeal. Lucy's mum was murdered by her dad, with Richie being arrested for the crime.

Tonight's episode kicked off with Lucy's mum's funeral as Tim and Sally rallied around her to offer their support alongside Christina Boyd, who oversaw the service with George Shuttleworth.
Lucy insisted they left the wake early, baffling Sally, who already believed that the teen could be a bad influence on Shanice.
Sally then asked Lucy whether she needed to talk about such a tough day, but her aloof reaction floored her. Tim intervened, saying they could give her space as the day had already been "too much", though Lucy immediately snapped back at him and Sally.
"It wasn't too much," she said.
"But I thought my dad was gonna be there, and he wasn't. That's the only reason I went to that stupid funeral in the first place," she added, rushing upstairs and leaving Sally speechless.

Later on, Sally told Tim she was "really worried" about Lucy.
"She buried her mother today and she didn't even cry," she said, but Tim argued that everyone grieves differently.
Sally protested that Lucy's reaction proved that "she's still daddy's little girl", voicing her concerns about her attachment to her father.
In the final scenes, Sally had Christina over to discuss Lucy's behaviour.
"I just wish I could get her to open up about anything other than her dad," Sally said.

Christina said that her mum's death would soon hit Lucy "like a tons of bricks" and she would need Tim and Sally, but the latter remained unconvinced.
"How can she be so invested in a man that would do that to her own mother?" Sally said as Christina asked if she thought there was "something else" to Lucy's story.
"I don't know. All I do know is something just doesn't feel right," a pensive Sally replied.
Is Lucy hiding something?
