‘I am people-made star,’ says Sivakarthikeyan; 'Seyon' actor opens up on criticism, sends strong message to fans at Chennai gathering

Sivakarthikeyan’s latest interaction with his fan club administrators has created a buzz beyond the usual fan event. The actor met more than 2,000 administrators from different parts of Tamil Nadu at a gathering near Porur in Chennai.

The event brought together state, district, city, union and area-level representatives in an organised setup. The venue itself attracted attention, with its entrance designed like a grand fort. The fans also turned up in similar white shirts, giving the gathering a strong political-meet-like appearance. However, Sivakarthikeyan’s speech focused more on his bond with people, personal values, and the purpose behind the gathering.

Sivakarthikeyan says ‘I am a people-made star’ in candid speech

Addressing the gathering, Sivakarthikeyan opened up about his journey and the support he has received from his fans. As reported by News 18, the actor made it clear that he does not see his success as something he achieved alone. “I am not a self-made star. I am a people-made star. This stardom would not be possible without the people,” he said. Sivakarthikeyan also spoke about the criticism he faces and asked his supporters not to get distracted by negative comments.

“Those who criticise will keep criticising. We should continue doing our work like a river that creates its own path,” he said. He added that the gathering was built on mutual affection and urged everyone to remain clear about its purpose.

Sivakarthikeyan urges fans to put family first and read books

The actor also used the occasion to share a few personal thoughts with his fan administrators. Stressing the importance of family, Sivakarthikeyan said, “Family should always come first.

Whatever we do, we should never forget our family.” He also urged them to develop the habit of reading and spend at least 15 minutes with books every day. “Please read books for at least 15 minutes every day. If you want to stay away from social media, books are a good alternative,” he said.

His fan clubs have also been involved in welfare activities, including blood donation drives, educational support and other forms of assistance.

After the meeting, Sivakarthikeyan visited the book stall arranged at the venue and interacted with the organisers, reinforcing his message about reading and staying focused on meaningful activities.

Sivakarthikeyan shares 'Seyon' update

The event also brought an update on Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film 'Seyon.' The actor revealed that around 60 per cent of the film has been completed. He described it as a mix of action and entertainment and promised that it would cater to his fans’ expectations.

The film is now expected to arrive for Pongal 2027, instead of the earlier October 2026 plan.Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, 'Seyon' features Raj B Shetty, Bhagyashri Borse, Seeman, Bala Saravanan, Arul Doss and Singampuli alongside Sivakarthikeyan. With his growing fan network and Seyon taking shape, the actor’s latest gathering has once again put the spotlight on his expanding influence.
