6 Coronation Street spoilers for tonight as Kit receives stark health warning

Coronation Street spoilers follow from Friday's episode (18 September), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight's Coronation Street, Kit hears some truths at the hospital as he continues to hide his breast cancer diagnosis from his loved ones.

Elsewhere, Jodie is relentless as she continues to manipulate Shona, and Carl becomes concerned when he witnesses Debbie lying to Ronnie.

1. Kit is urged to be honest with his family

Kit attends another appointment with the consultant at the hospital and is reassured to hear that his cancer hasn't spread any further. However, the consultant is concerned to learn that Kit still hasn't told his family about his diagnosis.

Kit is advised that he'll have to be honest with everyone soon, as he's likely to lose his hair and will experience other clear side-effects from his treatment. But is Kit ready to seek support?

2. Kit continues down a self-destructive path

Seeking an escape, Kit doubles his efforts to solve the murder of Luke Cookson, the main case which is currently occupying the detectives.

Kit is clearly spoiling for a fight as he chases down a young lad at the Precinct, bitterly accusing him of killing Luke. Will Kit's risky tactics land him in trouble?

3. Jodie's mind games continue

Jodie keeps tormenting Shona with her secret recordings of baby Harper's cries whenever David's back is turned.

When Shona heads to the doctors to seek advice on why she's hearing things, she's diagnosed with postpartum fatigue and encouraged to get some rest. Jodie continues to twist the knife, claiming that Shona wasn't honest enough with the doctor and she could be experiencing postpartum psychosis.

4. Debbie lies to Ronnie

Debbie arranges to meet Ronnie for dinner, but soon forgets all about it as she goes about her day.

When Debbie finally catches up with a string of missed calls from Ronnie, she hides her confusion by claiming that there was a mix-up at the hotel that she had to deal with. Carl is concerned that she's not being upfront with her husband.

5. Marco gets a second chance with Summer

Summer arranges another date with Marco, despite the abrupt ending to the last one when he had to rush off to meet his parole officer.

After the rocky start, can Marco prove to Summer that he's serious about their romance?

6. Glenda stirs things up at the Rovers

Glenda continues to encourage Susie's showbiz dreams by praising her singing.

Even proud mum Eva fears that Susie is getting carried away thanks to Glenda's praise – but it's Ben who is really having his patience tested…
