WEST END FINAL

The incident happened at Cricklewood railway station in the early afternoon of July 28, when a man was allegedly approached on the platform by another man who was repeatedly swearing.

Both men later boarded a train towards Sutton, where the alleged verbal abuse continued.

The man then reportedly pushed the victim, scratched his arm and spat at him.

A fellow passenger who attempted to intervene was also spat at.

Police have now released an image of a man they believe may have information that could assist their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 286 of 28 July.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
