Clavicular Charged With Rape and Drugging of Teenager

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts intends to arraign the "looksmaxxing" influencer in October, who was also charged with a drug charge related to sexual intercourse

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has charged Braden E. Peters, the “looksmaxxing” influencer known as Clavicular, with two felonies — one for rape and a drug charge related to sexual intercourse — and a misdemeanor for procuring liquor for under age 21. If convicted, the controversial streamer could serve up to 20 years in prison, according to New York Post.

All of the alleged incidents took place in Chatham, Cape Cod, on May 23, 2025. The charges do not list a victim of the alleged crimes in accordance with Massachusetts laws related to sexual offenses. The date, however, aligns with claims that Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, an influencer better known as Alorah Ziva, made in a civil suit she filed against Peters in Miami-Dade County this past April. In that suit, Mendoza alleged claims of battery, emotional distress, and fraud against Peters.

She claimed in her filing that Peters wanted her to be “the female face for looksmaxxing” and that they met for the first time at his parents’ house on Cape Cod. She alleged he then gave her alcohol to the point of becoming “visibly intoxicated” and that he “had sex with [her] while she was knowingly intoxicated, to the point when she was unable to give consent.” Moreover, the filing claimed, “That morning, while Mendoza was asleep, she woke up with Peters penetrating her and having sex with her, again without her consent.”

Mendoza’s claims of battery relate to claims she made that Peters gave her Aqualyx, an “unapproved drug” intended to “melt fat on her cheeks as part of his promise to help her with her online presence through looksmaxxing.” The filing claims she believes the injection also includes some kind of methamphetamine.

The New York Times cited a police report made in June that described the victim (it did not name Mendoza but referenced her April civil suit) as being 17 at the time of the incident and that Peters allegedly told her to lie and say she was 18 as he gave her “cups” of vodka. After the livestream, he had sex with her several times, the police report said, according to the Times.

Peters’ lawyer at the time denied Mendoza’s claims, calling them “unproven.” “Mr. Peters denies the claims and disputes the characterization of events,” attorney Steve Kramer said at the time. “He will respond through the appropriate legal channels and intends to vigorously defend himself.” His legal team subsequently asked the presiding judge to throw out parts of the suit.

Andrew Moss, who represents Mendoza, told the Times Peters would be deposed in relation to the case next week. Moss did not respond to Rolling Stone’s request for comment.

Massachusetts authorities filed the criminal charges, reported on Tuesday, against Peters, 20, on Sept. 4. A criminal complaint and summons were filed on Sept. 8. The state intends to arraign Peters on Oct. 14.

A lawyer for Peters did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone’s request for comment. Mitchell Jackson, Clavicular’s representative, referenced Mendoza’s civil filing in a statement to Rolling Stone related to the criminal charges. “THE TIMELINE: She files a lawsuit and doesn’t include sexual assault as a count,” Jackson wrote. “Then she amends it and adds it a couple of months later. Clavicular then filed a motion to dismiss fighting the civil lawsuit because letter/text messages show she knew what was happening with the injections and he refused to pay money. She and her lawyer then go to police.” On Monday, Jackson told The Hollywood Reporter that Peters had not yet been “physically served” with the criminal charges.

Peters responded to the news obliquely on social media with a series of tweets aimed at Mendoza. “Trying to get my attention in anyway possible, a lawsuit? Seriously… really petty of you,” he wrote in one.
