PMET advances Shaakichiuwaanaan logistics with Matagami rail
- PMET Resources (PMETF) has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with the City of Matagami to support spodumene concentrate shipments from its Shaakichiuwaanaan lithium project in Quebec.
- Under the proposed logistics plan, concentrate would be trucked from the project to Matagami, transferred to rail cars, and transported onward to port.
- The company plans to finalize a definitive commercial agreement before making a final decision on Shaakichiuwaanaan, with pricing, infrastructure contributions, and operating terms still subject to negotiation.
