Antonio Conte is continually linked to jobs at Manchester United, Juventus and more, but insists he is ‘enjoying the opportunity to rest and relax.’
The tactician walked away from Napoli after two seasons where he won the Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana, feeling his experience with them had come to a natural conclusion.

He was on the short-list for the Italy bench before it went to Roberto Mancini, but his name is being mentioned during difficult times for Juventus and Manchester United.
Conte sent a video message to the Festival dello Sport in Trento, where they were celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Juventus squad that won the Champions League in 1996.

“It is wonderful to celebrate 30 years of the success that was the most important for that Juve side,” said Conte.
“From that group, I above all remember the human connections, with a great coach like Marcello Lippi as its guide.
“I would’ve liked to be there with you, but at this moment I am not in Italy. I’m still enjoying my vacation, seeing as this year I have the opportunity to rest and relax.”

The 57-year-old has taken breaks before, most recently from March 2023 until the summer of 2024, when he resigned as Tottenham Hotspur manager.
There was also a year off when he left Chelsea in 2018, returning to work in 2019 for Inter.
