Reggie talked about his mother having to date people for money in an exclusive sit-down with Yandy Smith for Blabber.ai. The streamer said, “My mom had to date certain people for us to have money,” when he spoke about the money struggles his family faced growing up. Clips from the conversation started circulating on X on November 3, 2026, and they show another part of his childhood that he had already discussed publicly. Reggie discussed other things as well apart from the things about his mom.

Reggie Opens Up About His Mother's Financial Struggles and What She Had to Do for the Family

The conversation was a more personal look at Reggie's childhood, with the streamer describing the financial pressure on his family. The line about his mother was part of a roughly one-minute clip shared by X user @ayoTeqs.

He did not elaborate on the exact nature of those relationships in the circulating footage.

Other parts of the interview with Yandy Smith covered his relationship with his father.

Reggie said his father did not support his comedy ambitions and wanted him to stay in the streets instead of going into content creation. He also talked about his father's death from a heart attack linked to substance use.

Reggie's Childhood Abuse Allegations and Fallout With Former Clover Boys Associates

These latest comments come after Reggie spoke publicly about another painful part of his childhood in September 2026.

He shared an emotional video accusing his older brother, James Mack, of sexually abusing him when he was younger, and said he had spent years running from the truth before deciding to speak out.

His mother addressed the allegations too, in separate videos.

She said she contacted the police and arranged therapy after learning what had allegedly happened between her sons, and she also backed Reggie's decision to share his experience.

Then came a fallout between Reggie and people from his former Clover Boys circle, which included his past association with Kai Cenat. Cenat's legal team later sent Reggie a cease-and-desist over certain statements he had made.

Known online as Girlhefunny1, Girl He Funny and Lil Rodney Son, Reggie first built an audience through comedy skits before moving to Twitch streaming and collaborations. He's also kept working on music, including an upcoming album titled The Biggest GG.
