Selena Gomez Proves She's the Real Trophy in All-Gold Emmys 2026 Look

Leave it to Selena Gomez to have a bewitching night on the red carpet.
The Only Murders in the Building actress stepped out at the Emmys 2026 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles Sept. 14, proving she already won no matter who takes home the trophies at the ceremony.
After all, she arrived in a showstopping gold Louis Vuitton form-fitting strapless gown adorned with stripes of beads along the entire piece. She accessorized the look with Tiffany & Co. gold-and-diamond drop earrings, silver cocktail rings and a $175,000 Bird on a Rock bracelet. Gomez completed the ensemble with her black tresses cascading down her back and a glowy, minimal makeup look. (See more celebs on the red carpet here.)
Gomez’s series—in which she stars alongside Martin Short and Steve Martin—is up for Outstanding Comedy Series alongside Abbott Elementary, Nobody Wants This, The Bear, Shrinking, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Hacks and Widow’s Bay.
Trust, Gomez is well aware her category is stacked. And while Only Murders has taken home seven Emmys over its five-season run thus far (the series is currently filming its sixth and final season in London), Gomez previously cheekily shared she could never be a sore loser if the show goes home empty-handed.
The 34-year-old shared she took inspiration from an iconic episode of Friends after showing her well-rehearsed Emmys loser face on The Tonight Show in 2024, writing to a fan at the time, “Facts. @jenniferaniston taught me too lol.’”
And of course, Gomez could never feel like a loser with husband Benny Blanco by her side.
“I’ve never been loved this way," Gomez—who tied the knot with Blanco in September 2025—told Vanity Fair in 2024. “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life.”

Indeed, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum emphasized that the 37-year-old is her “best friend,” musing, “I love telling him everything.”
Of course, the feeling is mutual for Gomez’s husband—and he wasn’t at all scared of loving her.
“The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife,’" Blanco told Interview magazine in 2025. “I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”
And it’s not because of the Emmys date nights—that’s for sure.
“She’s the first person that I’ve been with where I’m like, ‘I don’t even give a f--k what’s going on,’” Blanco added. “I could sit in this bed with you for 72 hours and feel like I didn’t miss anything.”
Lucky for fans of the couple though, tonight is not one of those nights. Keep reading for more stars who stepped out at the Emmys 2026…
